Venue
The colloquium will take place at the University of Liège, in the city center campus.
Liège (Luik, Lüttich) is a mid-size city located to the east of Belgium, near the German and Dutch borders. It is a lively city, with many pubs, restaurants, and hotels at all prizes. Thanks to its location, it can be easily reached by all means of transport. The train is a good way to keep carbon footprint as low as possible, and there are many lines enabling to come to Liège, with notably direct connections from Maastricht, Köln, Frankfurt or Paris and high-speed connections with only one change between Liège and Amsterdam or London. If train is not possible, note that Liège sits at the junction of 4 major motorways (E25, E313, E40, and E42) linking it quickly by car to the rest of Belgium as well as France, Luxemburg, the Netherlands and Germany. Long-distance participants arriving by plane can fly to Brussels airport (about one hour away by train), Frankfurt airport (direct high-speed train connection, 2h travel), Charleroi airport (aka Brussels-south, served by low-cost airlines), Köln airport, Maastricht airport, or Paris airports (direct high-speed train connection to/from Paris north station, 2h travel).
The workshop will take place in the city center.
